Furious Warriors whine about Thunder's Kevin Durant handling

Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant looks on during the second half of an NBA basketball game against the Philadelphia 76ers in Philadelphia. The Warriors say n Durant will be out indefinitely after

The Oklahoma City Thunder didn't plan any special activities for the return of Kevin Durant, much to the disappointment of the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State had lost four of their first six games after Durant went down, but has taken care of business in its last three home games.

However, at the game there was no acknowledgement of Durant from the Thunder's in-game operations staff.

With 13 games left in the regular season, Russell Westbrook still has time to put some finishing touches on his case to win the crown of NBA MVP. "Sources say the Warriors were of the mindset that someone from ownership or management should have addressed the media on Durant's behalf to help ease the tension upon his return".

The feeling is that Durant should have been acknowledged or thanked, in a news conference setting, for his nine years of excellent service. The Thunder isn't just winning games, but its doing so in blowout fashion. He's expected to remain in the Warriors locker room to rehab during the game. To have your feelings hurt that the Thunder weren't nice enough to Durant upon his return to Oklahoma City is ludicrous. However, he was not recognized in any way by the Oklahoma City franchise during his first game back this year.

Islamic State militants capture Iraqi police colonel, 8 officers in west Mosul
Reports however indicate that up to 600,000 civilians may be caught inside the city. The eastern half of the city was captured by government troops in January.

"We know we have the talent to score the ball inside or outside", Thunder center Enes Kanter said.

However, the Warriors were reportedly upset over the lack of "inactivity" regarding Durant's homecoming. But that day sure isn't happening anytime soon and definitely isn't happening this season.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is here to set the record straight.

The Warriors fear Durant, who's sidelined with a MCL injury he suffered earlier this month, will get a second bumpy reception despite not suiting up.
