Air India asks Delhi Police why no action taken against Gaikwad

Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad was capturted on camera while arguing with a police officer in Latur district of Maharashtra during a protest over a non-functioning ATM.

The video of Shiv Sena MP getting into a verbal spat with the city cops was recorded by most of the passers-by and later got viral on social media. MP Ravindra Gaikwad reached Latur yesterday, and he sent his aide to withdraw money from an ATM at Latur. But the aide returned empty-handed as ATM had run out of cash. The letter has been written by the CMD of Air India Ashwani Lohani to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi wherein he has asked for immediate action to be taken on the FIRs-lodged by them, according to reports from Indian Express.

Female customers said that they were thankful to Gaikwad for arguing with the bank manager by staging a "dharna" at the SBI ATM.

Despite Rulings, Arkansas Governor And AG Vow To Pursue Executions
But the judge was taken off the case by the state's Supreme Court and the temporary restraining order was thrown out. Arkansas officials are vowing to carry out a double execution later this week after the U.S.

The incident and subsequent flying ban on Gaikwad had generated a lot of political heat before the ban was removed. We gave them 100 days, then 200 days.

On March 23, Gaikwad assaulted an Air India staffer inside an aircraft at the Delhi airport and was later caught bragging about it on video. "Once we get the go-ahead from him, we will make them public", one official said. Taking retributive action, the national carrier canceled Gaikwad's return ticket to Pune after he boastfully asserted he would board the afternoon flight.
