The constitutional reforms are set to grant more powers to Erdogan, effecting a changeover from parliamentary to the presidential form of government in Turkey.

On Sunday a referendum that experts say wild solidify Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan authoritarian rule passed by a vote of 51.2 percent to 48.8 percent.

Turkey's ally Saudi Arabia on Monday praised the "success" of a referendum giving President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sweeping new powers.

In contrast to the tensions with the EU, Trump called Erdogan to "congratulate him on his recent referendum victory", the White House said in a statement.

The changes won't go into effect until the 2019 election, but on Monday the Turkish government imposed its third consecutive state of emergency giving Erdogan's AK Party, many of those powers immediately.

Binali Yildirim said Wednesday the electoral board would rule on the main opposition Republican People's Party's request for the referendum's annulment.

Meanwhile, Detroit is 5-0 in their last five games versus a left-handed starter, and 7-3 in Verlander's last 10 starts. They got into it a little bit, but the incident served as a turning point for Verlander.

US President Donald Trump, meanwhile, ignored the concerns about voting irregularities and congratulated President Erdogan on his referendum victory.

Worldwide observers charged Monday that the referendum campaign was conducted on an "unlevel playing field" and that the vote count was marred by late procedural changes that removed key safeguards.

According to Turkish electoral law, officials have to stamp ballots, that are then placed in stamped envelopes before being dropped in the ballot box.

Out of the 11 members of the commission allowed to vote, 10 were in favour of rejecting the complaints while one voted to accept the opposition's calls, both broadcasters reported.

However, asked about Erdoğan's suggestion in his victory speech that he could hold a referendum on reintroducing the death penalty, the commission spokesman described it as "the reddest of red lines" with regard to Turkey's decade-long attempt to join the bloc.

Responding to the results, Mr. Erdogan said Turkey had made a historic decision in backing an executive presidential system, adding that the "Yes" camp had secured 25 million referendum votes, 1.3 million ahead of "No". But Mr Erdogan has taken his authoritarian bent to an extreme, imposing the state of emergency and purging the opposition, academia and the army after a failed coup a year ago.
