Gunfire sensors credited with quick arrest in Fresno rampage

Mark Gassett was carrying groceries while walking home from a Catholic Charities building Tuesday when Kori Ali Muhammad shot him in the chest, according to police. A psychiatrist who examined Muhammad believed he had psychosis, Muhammad's attorney said in the court filing.

The father of a man accused of killing four people in Fresno this week says his son blamed white people for putting crack cocaine on the streets and getting him hooked on drugs. He had been associated with gangs but he was not a confirmed member, police say. Once he saw that the shooter had left the scene, he went outside to feel for a pulse, and "there wasn't one", he said. That he was going to kill as many white males as possible.

Valencia said that Randalls would not want the circumstances of his death to rule the narrative of his life, or to be used as "ignition for any other hateful acts".

It says she barricaded herself in the motel room after Kori Ali Muhammad gunned him down, forcing police to break down the door.

Muhammad shot the guard, 25-year-old Carl Williams, multiple times at close range shortly after 11 p.m., police said.

After the original shooting, Muhammad ran behind the motel and climbed onto the roof of a nearby 7-Eleven, where he hid through Thursday night.

The police labeled the murders a hate crime, but did not go so far as to label it terrorism, despite the fact that Muhammad repeatedly yelled, "Allahu Akbar."

He said Muhammad then took a city bus and ended up at a ravine, which would become his hideaway for the next few days. The suspect also said that he had been practicing voodoo rituals and is not a terrorist or affiliated with any terror groups.

This is what happens when a racist killer operates around a thoroughly racist worldview. "Banking on the hopes that American minorities will feel alienated if President Trump handles the subject of race the way he did during his campaign, with divisive language and an attention to white nationalism, black separatism is finding a renewed sense of energy", said the watchdog organization in a January 12 article.

Williams was a hard-working security guard who earned the rank of supervisor at Monument Security.

'Rashford can be one of the world's best'
The first is with Liverpool and Manchester City victories this weekend, if we don't win, goodbye Premier League. The Blues are still in a strong position but they are now feeling the hot breath of Spurs on their neck.

Muhammad fired at Williams because he said the security guard disrespected him, Dyer said.

"And that's what he set out to do".

Randalls, 34, a utility worker for Pacific Gas and Electric Co., was on the job and sitting inside a company vehicle at the time he was shot. The suspect noticed the driver was Hispanic, and the passenger was white.

Dyer said Muhammad approached a vehicle in between shootings, but he spared the lives of two Latina women who were in the auto with a child.

Muhammad shot at another white man who had just walked out of a house, but he missed. Gassett's family said he was volunteering in the area minding his own business when he was gunned down, near Fulton and Nevada Avenues.

The men fled, and the gunman chased one of them - eventually catching up at the parking lot of Catholic Charities. Police said he fired twice at that victim.

David Jackson, 58, died at the scene.

Muhammad starting running, until he saw a police vehicle, which had arrived within minutes of the initial shots.

"Kori Muhammad is a very calloused individual". At times, the suspect laughed while detailing the killings to police.
