Near the blast site of the "Mother of All Bombs", U.S. and Afghan forces are trying to dislodge Islamic State from a mountain stronghold where the militant group recently established a new front.

Since the United States dropped a massive bomb on an Islamic State cave complex in eastern Afghanistan on Thursday, US military officials have been circumspect about the damage, but one voice has been filling the information vacuum in the region: Islamic State radio.

Quoting unnamed local officials, Pajhowk Afghan News reported that a total of 96 ISIS militants were killed in the bomb attack, including 13 Indians. He said two of the "Daesh commanders Mohammad and Allah Gupta were from India".
