MSU's Robertson charged with sexual assault

Michigan State player charged with criminal sexual conduct

Robertson, 19, a freshman defensive lineman for Michigan State, was charged by Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon in the 55th District Court in Mason, Michigan, according to the newspaper.

A Michigan State University football player has been charged with sexual assault after an investigation from Meridian Township police.

MSU football coach Mark Dantonio did not release Robertson's name at the time but said the player who was being investigated was suspended from all team activities as soon as he learned about the situation on April 9. He played seven games as a true freshman for the Spartans last fall and made three tackles.

Growth in manufacturing remained broadly stable at 58.2 after 58.3 in March, the highest level in almost six years. That matched the highest reading of the sub-index, started in July 2012, set in January.

He temporarily delayed signing a letter of intent with Michigan State while sorting through those legal issues.

According to Scout.com, Robertson was a 4-star prospect out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, prior to committing to Michigan State. Robertson entered a diversionary program for those charges last March and finished his probation last month.

All four players have been suspended. That's the day the incident was reported to Meridian Township Police. The prosecutor's office has yet to make a decision on whether or not it will charge any of those players with a crime. The university has confirmed that recruiting director Curtis Blackwell is the only football staff member now under suspension, but would not say if his suspension was related to the sexual assault allegations.
