New tests indicate sarin used in Syria attack

The finding supported earlier testing by Turkish and British laboratories.

Mr Johnson also suggested that Britain could support the United States in the event of further missile strikes on Syria.

On President Trump's orders earlier this month, USA warships launched between 50-60 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Syria Government airbase where the warplanes that carried out the chemical attacks were based.

Boris Johnson told parliament that it would be "hard to say no" if the USA asked for military assistance in Syria.

The US airstrike this month was the first direct military action taken against President Assad by the US.

"He said: "'We were not asked for specific support, but it is my belief, were it be a reasonable request in pursuit of similar objectives, then I think it would be very hard for the United Kingdom to say no".

Reus rues sloppy start in Dortmund's Champions League exit
Monaco was stretched down both flanks but, equally, Dortmund was increasingly exposed to Monaco's slick counterattacking. In another quarterfinal match, there was a goal fest as hosts Monaco hammered German club Borussia Dortmund 3-1.

Alistair reminded Johnson of the Parliament's decision to vote down the motion that would have authorized military involvement into Syria back in August 2013 under fairly similar circumstances. The second is a BBC interview with Peter Ford, former British ambassador to Syria, from April 7.

He also contended that sarin gas was used by the regime in the most recent chemical weapons attack that killed dozens of civilians, including children, in Khan Sheikun. After being raised in Syria, Hamza believes the impact of the attack was limited.

"The essential thing will be to have a political process that preserves the institutions of the Syrian state while decapitating the monster", he said.

The Foreign Secretary has previously said there will be "no impunity" for the people responsible for the chemical weapons attack.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov cast doubt on the impartial character of the OPCW fact-checking missions, entrusted with investigation of the alleged chemical attack, calling it "a very odd coincidence" that they are both chaired by the British citizens.
