Trump calls 100-day assessment 'ridiculous'

Trump has good reason to try to lower expectations ahead of the 100th day of his presidency, which will be April 29 - he hasn't accomplished much of anything.

Before President Trump scoffed at the "ridiculous standard" of measuring a leader's success by his first 100 days in office, he signed and delivered a two-page contract outlining his "100-day action plan to Make America Great Again". The rollout of the initial executive order prompted mass confusion and massive protests at USA airports as crowds flooded worldwide arrival terminals and Green Card holders were barred from entering the country.

"No matter how much I accomplish during the ridiculous standard of the first 100 days, & it has been a lot (including S.C.), media will kill!" he wrote. He has, however, made headway on getting his Supreme Court pick confirmed, rolling back regulations, and pushing "clean coal". Trump said in an early morning tweet.

Voters who wish to hold Trump to the contract would do well to read the fine print.

Gwen Stefani has to stop coaching her people to worry about their posture or their facial expressions or their eye contact. A Hollywood Life exclusive claims that Gwen Stefani is considering another pregnancy at her age of 47-years-old.

Also casting a shadow over Trump's first 100 days is a set of ongoing investigations into Russian election interference and potential ties between members of Trump's presidential campaign and Moscow. Those included bills to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, dramatically cut taxes, spur $1 trillion in infrastructure investments and significantly expand school choice.

White House staff have been quietly nervous that heads might roll after 100 days, with a staff shake-up possible if Trump doesn't see some major victories soon.

As the 100-day mark approaches, Trump's top press aides have said they are planning several activities to promote his progress on issues including immigration, regulatory reform and job creation.

Trump's travel ban, the policy version of a proposal that began during the GOP primary as a promise to ban all Muslims from entering the US, has also stumbled out of the starting blocks.
