A passenger flying into Kansas City International Airport faces a citation after video shows him shoving an airline employee

A passenger flying into Kansas City International Airport is facing a citation after attacking an American Airlines pilot.

The video sees Edward Foster twice pushing the pilot, causing him to fall backwards over his luggage, police told KSHB.

Following the tense exchange in the terminal, Foster reportedly followed the pilot out to his auto, where the man's wife was waiting for him inside the vehicle, according to the police report cited by KMBC.

The KCI Airport Police released a report in which Foster claims the pilot was being disrespectful during the flight, as he was riding as a passenger on the aircraft.

The flight was from Dallas to Kansas City.

FOX 4 News tried to talk to Foster about the incident, but there was no answer at his listed address.

Court Rulings Block 2 Scheduled Executions Today In Arkansas
Griffin said he used phone calls and text messages previous year to order one of Arkansas' three execution drugs. But unlike the earlier decisions, this stay came from a court that had shifted to the right in recent elections.

American Airlines Spokesman Ross Feinstein would not confirm if the pilot was an employee of American. Foster claims he told the pilot he should not be rude. "We are not going to comment on a pending investigation by law enforcement", Feinstein said.

The pilot initially declined to prosecute, but returned to the airport the next day to be interviewed by detectives, the station reported.

The video also shows Foster following the pilot outside the airport, where his wife was waiting in a vehicle, the police report said. The pilot suffered cuts to his legs and bruises on his forearm, court documents said.

He was charged with intentionally inflicting bodily injury - a municipal violation - and is slated to appear in court on May 12.

Security video shows Foster following the pilot as the two left the gate.
