April 23: A mostly sunny to partly cloudy, cooler and breezy Sunday

Source WGCL

Enjoy Monday's sunshine and warmth, because the weather will be going downhill for a few days. Two weather systems will affect us this week and bring several rounds of April showers and thunderstorms. The rain looks fairly widespread for Saturday. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. Past year on this date, the high was 65 and the low was 35. Southwest winds 15 to 25 miles per hour, gusting as high as 35 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm are possible.

On Monday, keep that rain gear nearby.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Tuesday: Variably Cloudy. High: 80. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Thursday night the region will be mostly clear with lows in the low 60s. Winds could gust as high as 24 miles per hour.

As the storm spins south of New England, it will pivot showers through the area Wednesday afternoon and into the evening. Neither of these will be major or even moderate factors, but some minor flooding and coastal erosion are likely when the tides are high later today and again early Wednesday. We'll be in the 80s by Thursday. Cloudy, with a low around 52. Highs into the upper 40's and middle 50's. East wind 15 to 18 miles per hour. Cloudy, with a low around 43. Breezy. Low temperatures in the mid 50s.

Showers should be more common this morning than this afternoon, but they will be possible at any time through the day today. Windy. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s.
