Phoenix Finally Announce New Album 'Ti Amo'

Like the classy band that they are, Phoenix announced their newest album in a story The New York Times on Monday. The album is the band's latest since 2013's Bankrupt!, with a variety of Sofia Coppola-directed work in between. The release will arrive on June 9 via Glassnote. "We could go back and say, 'Let's get the MIDI from February 12th, ' or, 'Let's get the first take'".

The French band, fronted by Thomas Mars, debuted with United in 2000 and found commercial and critical success with their fourth album, 2009's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
