Bengals cornerback Adam Jones could face additional discipline from the National Football League for his behavior stemming from of a January arrest after pleading guilty to obstructing official police business.

Municipal Court Judge Dwane Mallory dismissed misdemeanor counts of assault and disorderly conduct at the prosecutor's request after a plea agreement.

Jones pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Jones was arrested in early January after an incident at a Cincinnati hotel. Charges of assault and disorderly conduct were dismissed.

The 33-year old Jones pleaded guilty to a single charge of misdemeanor obstructing official business and was sentenced to time served, two days.

He also faced charges of harassment with a bodily substance, which is a felony, after allegedly spitting on a nurse who works for the jail's medical staff.
