Father shocked after adult son accused of decapitating mom

Authorities have determined that a decapitated head a 36-year-old man brought into an OR grocery store belonged to his mother - and was part of a Mother's Day crime spree that spanned two towns.

He told the Associated Press: "I never foresaw a problem".

After investigations by multiple law enforcement agencies, Webb on Monday was charged with the murder of his mother, 59-year-old Tina Marie Webb, and the attempted murder of the clerk, 66-year-old Michael Wagner.

Joshua Webb's father, David Webb, said his son had vision problems and lived at home so he and his wife could help care for him.

His mother had said she believed her son was depressed, but David said he never saw any indication of that when he spoke with his son.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said Webb was immediately taken to a different hospital, then discharged and taken to jail on Monday.

Authorities believe Joshua Lee Webb was in possession of her severed head during the attack in the grocery store. Other employees at the Estacada, Oregon, Harvest Market Thriftway grocery store kicked and beat Webb, and finally managed to subdue him and get Webb's knife away from him.

Jeremy Corbyn sets out Labour manifesto promising a 'better future'
Labour will also legislate to reduce pay inequality by introducing an Excessive Pay Levy on companies with staff on very high pay. The current 40 percent tax rate applies to people earning between £45,000 and £150,000.

Webb then stabbed Wagner as many as seven times in the stomach and sternum before Wagner and several other employees tackled him and beat him, the Oregonian reported. The head of Tina Webb, the suspect's mother, was recovered at the Thriftway grocery store.

"He didn't say anything after he was subdued", Ernie Roberts, interim police chief in the nearby town of Sandy, told the AP. (Sandy provides police services for Estacada, which has a mere 2,600 residents.) "He was in like a catatonic state, wasn't speaking to anybody".

At approximately 2:14 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the police received a 911 phone call from the Estacada grocery store.

The grocery store checkout clerk was hospitalized and was expected to survive. "He's the epitome of what this place stands for", Marvin Flora, who owns Lew's Drive-In diner next door to the grocery store said.

"It was traumatic, but it happened so fast that nobody really saw what was going on", he said.
