Pyongyang accuses Central Intelligence Agency of biochemical plot to kill Kim Jong Un

North Korea deliberately detonated a missile during its failed weekend test because the rocket was heading for Russia it has been claimed. A North Korean live-fire drill

The North claimed that the CIA and IS - South Korea's Intelligence Service - "hatched a vicious plot" targeting Kim while he appeared in public in Pyongyang for ceremonial events.

The North's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Kim visited military detachments on Jangjae and Mu islets and was briefed on the "recent movements of the enemy".

On Wednesday, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Washington was preparing further sanctions for use "if it turns out North Korea's actions warrant additional sanctions", Reuters reported.

Without providing proof for their claims, North Korea's state security ministry said the CIA and South Korea's National Intelligence Service were plotting "to hurt the supreme leadership" of North Korea.

According to the USA military's recent declaration, the United States has 806 deployed ICBMs (intercontinental ballistic missile), SLBMs (submarine-launched ballistic missile), and heavy bombers as well as 1,722 deployed nuclear warheads.

The allegation followed a near unanimous vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday to toughen sanctions on North Korea sanctions on North Korea and other countries that help its nuclear and missile programs, including China.

Iran opposition complains of election 'infractions'
In public, he has an austere charisma, and is surrounded by an entourage with ties to the Islamic regime's most hardline elements. Ballot counting will start at midnight and final results are expected within 24 hours of polls closing, TV reported.

The KCNA report alleged that a North Korean citizen was recruited by the intelligence agencies, but the plan was "recently uncovered and smashed", CNN reported.

Pyongyang accuses USA and South Korea spy agencies of attempt to assassinate country's leader with biochemical weapons.

North Korea's Ministry of State Security called the supposed plot a "last-ditch effort" that had gone "beyond the limits". The report of the attempted assassination was publicized by the state-controlled KCNA news agency. But while the warning in the North's article of "grave consequences" would seem nothing but rhetoric, there is no disputing that China, with a long border with the country, would be affected should conflict break out on the peninsula.

The North believes the US and South are seeking to assassinate Kim, said Professor Koh Yu-Hwan of Dongguk University.

Well, it turns out North Korea really believes that the US and South Korea have been working together to kill Kim by using biochemical weapons.

Pyongyang decried its southern neighbor in 2016 for allegedly releasing tons of snakes into North Korean territory.

During the interview, Trump also spoke of the man at the center stage of all this, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
