New Video Talks About Star Wars Battlefront 2's Story

Star Wars Battlefront II: New Trailer Sheds Revealing Light on Protagonist

Take this newest trailer for the game that was released today, for instance- it focuses entirely on the story of Commander Iden Versio, the former Stormtrooper who you will be playing as in Battlefront 2's story.

At the start of Battlefront II's story, you'll fight as a member of Inferno Squad through the "Empire's final, desperate hour", voyaging across the galaxy aboard the Imperial Raider Corvus.

According to Blank, they had always been in talks with EA for the gaming arm of Star Wars, and the goal was to create stories that would explore the events between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

For the Battlefront sequel, EA has tapped into Star Wars lore to bridge the gap between the "old" Episode VI and the recent Episode VII.

Trump willing to try engagement with North Korea, on conditions: Seoul
Ambassador Nikki Haley declared: "You either support North Korea or you don't, but you have to choose". Any one of which would make any nuclear device North Korea can make look like a firecracker.

"Another great thing they included was to do it from an Imperial point of view".

Blank shared that the team behind the stories had already done their homework when developing the stories, giving it a more seamless approach that incorporates some of these materials and ideas. Apparently, this was one of the reasons that sold the game to the team.

Taking all of this into consideration, it seems like Star Wars Battlefront 2's developers are attempting to make the campaign a success, especially since it was recently revealed that Spec Ops: The Line writer Walt Williams is working on the script with Mitch Dyer to tackle the plot's broad scope. The Empire, of course, have traditionally served as the bad guys of the Star Wars mythos, and that's a tough perception to turn around.

Here's the trailer. It's PlayStation branded, but Star Wars Battlefront 2 will also be out on PC in November.
