Man arrested at Trump hotel in DC with 2 guns

When they arrived, they found a handgun and an AR-15 assault rifle in Bryan Moles' vehicle.

Trump's hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue, housed in a landmark former post office, has become a focal point for protests against the Republican president since he took office in January.

He reportedly told someone else about the weapons and ammunition in his auto, and that person reported Moles to police.

Police arrested a man early Wednesday at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. after discovering an assault rifle and ammunition in his auto. Authorities worked with hotel security to locate Moles' auto, and later, Moles himself inside the hotel.

Newsham said a news conference that he was "very concerned" about Moles and that authorities "averted a potential disaster here in our nation's capital".

Fox 5 DC journalist Melanie Alnwick reported that police tracked Moles to the hotel after he made unspecified threats.

Trump Expected To Withdraw From Paris Climate Agreement
Last month, Trump called the agreement "one-sided", suggesting that he may try to withdraw or renegotiate the terms of the deal. French President Emmanuel Macron also chimed in on the climate issue, praising Trump's "capacity to listen".

Moles is facing weapons charges.

Police had been told Moles had a Glock 23 pistol and a Carbon 15 Bushmaster rifle, the incident report said.

Moles is a physician who practices emergency medicine at a hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.

"This morning, the authorities arrested a guest who was behaving suspiciously". Police said he was charged with possession of firearms without a license and illegal possession of ammunition.

Edinboro is about 100 miles north of Pittsburgh.
