Watch Foo Fighters Rage With Retirees in Surprise 'Run' Video

The Foo Fighters just caught everyone off guard and dropped a new single

Surprise! American stadium rockers Foo Fighters have just gone and dropped new single Run just weeks before the rock troupe headline the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival!

The accompanying music video for "Run", which was directed by Foo frontman Dave Grohl, features each band member sporting old age makeup and performing in a dingy nursing home. You can watch the video for "Run' below".

"Run" sees the band dressed as elderly men, playing to a crowd of old people in a church.

Here's Carrie Fisher in Her Last Magazine Cover Shoot as General Organa
The fourth cover is entirely dedicated to late actress Carrie Fisher , who portrays General Leia Organa in The Last Jedi . Waiting until December to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi becomes harder and harder everyday.

It's been three years since the Foo Fighters released an album - though 2015 saw them release an EP - and it looks like they're fixing to change that very soon.

Keith Biddy described the track and video as "bad ass", adding: "Welcome back, we've missed you".

Their last full-length, 2014's Sonic Highways, saw the group explore new musical styles as they recorded in different cities. But the band has been gearing up for a new global tour this summer, which kicked off over Memorial Day weekend at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, the only USA date announced so far.
