NBA Finals Preview: Series will impact legacies of LeBron, Durant

Thus far, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors have matched up in the 2015 and 2016 National Basketball Association finals, each winning one apiece.

Now it's LeBron James v Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. Heck, Cleveland stood up to Golden State the year before.

The biggest difference between the 2017 Finals and the last two Finals is Golden State's addition of Kevin Durant.

Watching Part II of the Cavaliers-Warriors NBA Finals trilogy last spring, Kyle Korver came to a realization. The two teams are set for a mammoth final with Game 1 scheduled in Oakland on Thursday. With the 22nd defense of the league and problems with clinching the game, there were doubts if they can get past Boston or even Toronto in the conference semis.

Friday, June 9: Golden State at Cleveland, 9 p.m.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving (2) moves the ball against Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) in the second half in game seven of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena.

"We had a pretty - good idea that it was gonna be Cleveland".

The Cavaliers are led by forward LeBron James, who averaged 26.4 points per game during the regular season.

The Warriors are 12-0 in the playoffs and have won 27 of their last 28 overall.

Having Kerr back on the bench would be a huge boost for a team that has won all 12 games so far this postseason.

Explosion at corn milling plant rocks Wisconsin town
A review of online OSHA records shows the plant was cited in January 2011 for exposing its workers to dust explosion hazards. He says there were no evacuations in the area and there's no threat from chemicals or fumes that he's aware of.

A lackluster postseason could be salvaged by a close, compelling series, which was the result of an National Basketball Association 2K17 simulation that ended with Durant leading the Warriors to a Game 7 rout. Tristan Thompson will own the paint, it is the perimeter that will give the Cavs fits, as the Warriors will most likely run the pick and roll offense through Curry and Durant.

For me, the most pressure is not LBJ or KD ... it's about Steph.

He needs to have a great series if he wants to cement his legacy as one of the all-timers. Cleveland nearly certainly needs the Kevin Love of the last round to have a chance at the upset. Irving genuinely feels he is better than Curry, and will be looking to prove it. Look for the Cavs to play lots of iso with Irving and LeBron.

We just hope no injuries, suspensions or any outside factors will take place and that the both teams will enter this competition in their best mood.

The Warriors were 16 games better than the Cavaliers were in the regular season and have yet to lose a game in the playoffs.

At long last, the NBA Finals are here, and it's the series everyone predicted - Cavaliers vs. Warriors. He's seeking his first title and is second for the Warriors in scoring with 25.2 points per game this postseason.

"He's one of the most risky guys we have in the (basketball) world already so it makes it even more unsafe when you equip that talent, that skill, with those guys", James said of Durant joining such stars as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

"I imagine I'm going to coach until Steve tells me he's ready", Brown said. In fact, LeBron has had a winning ATS record just twice in his seven the NBA Finals appearances.

Ahead of this year's series, Curry says he has some swelling in his right elbow and will probably wear a shooting sleeve.
