Doctor in Trump Hotel case released but due back in court

A man found with guns at President Donald Trump's Washington, D.C. hotel was released from jail on Friday.

Moles has been charged with the federal crime of unlawful possession of a firearm, as well as unlawful transportation of a firearm under a District of Columbia law.

When he is in DC, he was also ordered to stay away from the White House and the Trump Hotel, specifically the area surrounded by Constitution Avenue NW to the south, 18th Street NW to the west, 9th Street NW to the east and Eye Street NW to the north.

Moles was arrested in his hotel room early Wednesday when police said he made statements referring to deadly bombings in the 1990s at the federal building in Oklahoma City and at the Olympics in Atlanta.

The suspect, a Pennsylvania physician who according to reports earlier sent a text message about traveling to visit the president with a carload of weapons was in possession of an assault-style rifle and handgun in his vehicle. Bryan Moles also reportedly told an acquaintance he had gathered up survival gear, a plethora of cellphones, and large amounts of ammunition before driving to the Trump hotel.

Bryan Moles, left, leaves court with attorney Eugene Ohm on Thursday, June 1, 2017, in Washington. They said that Moles, a married father of two young boys, owns guns for protection and didn't realize he couldn't transport them into nation's capital. He also made mention of Olympic Park Bomber Eric Rudolph, who was convicted of perpetrating multiple acts of domestic terrorism.

Thailand Open: Saina Nehwal, Sai Praneeth storm into semis
The third seeded Praneeth comfortably defeated the Thai 21-16 21-17 in the men's singles section at the Nimibutr Stadium. He will now face Malaysia's Kantaphon Wang and is expected to reach the semi-final without much difficulty.

According to the criminal complaint, Moles told detectives that before his road trip, he had withdrawn $10,000 "to live the life he always wanted before it was too late".

In addition to approving Itoh as the defendant's court-appointed counsel, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather released Moles on the condition that he check in regularly with authorities in Georgia, and undergo a mental health evaluation and treatment.

"We're going to do a thorough examination if we can get the motive as to why this guy was coming to the District of Columbia armed with these weapons", Secret Service agent Mike Ball said. Moles told officers he had $4.19 left in his checking account, an important number to him because it corresponded to the date of the April 19, 1996, Oklahoma City attack, the filing said.

Shortly after Moles checked in to the Trump hotel, authorities located Moles' auto, unlocked it and found an assault-style rifle and several magazines with ammunition, as well as rifle accessories and a semi-automatic pistol with six rounds of ammunition in it.

An old friend of Moles, Lisa DellaRatta, a nurse practitioner in Florida said that she knew him for 25 years and "there is absolutely no way" he was planning anything violent. Inside, police found the rifle, two 30-round high-capacity magazines and a loaded Glock 23 inside the unlocked glove box.

Police said they had received a tip from an acquaintance who had listened to a voice-mail recording from Moles and relayed information to Pennsylvania State Police. According to a spokeswoman at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center system said that he was on administrative leave there recently before his arrest on Wednesday.
