Is Tiger Woods Addicted to Pain Medications?

A dashboard video of Tiger Woods' early Monday encounter with police provides a picture of what occurred when the golf star was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The golfer fails the field sobriety tests, which are created to determine whether someone is fit to be behind the wheel, and the damage to his vehicle is further evidence that he wasn't fit to be piloting a auto. The officer tells Woods that he's "not even looking at the light" as he asks him to track a flashlight with his eyes. I would like to apologise with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans.

When initially asked where he was coming from, Woods replied, "L.A", and told them he was heading to "Orange County", indicating that he thought he was in Southern California.

Woods was also asked to say the alphabet from A to Z in a slow non-rhythmic manner and when asked if he remembers the instructions, Woods said, "Not to sing the national anthem backwards". Reports later revealed that Woods registered a blood alcohol level of 0.00% and instead his condition was because he took Solarex, Vicodin, Torix and Vioxx.

Woods is due in court in Palm Beach on 5 July.

Woods, who is recovering from back surgery, apologised and said he took "full responsibility" after spending almost four hours in jail. His vehicle showed signs of minor damage, including two flat tires, dents in his front and rear bumpers, and a broken taillight. I can imagine that he's also dealing with quite a bit of stress, not being able to stay healthy and play the sport he loves.

National Hockey League updates Expansion Draft action plan with 'critical dates'
An exception to this deadline will be granted to the Penguins and Predators if the Stanley Cup Final goes to seven games. The NHL Awards start at 8:00 tonight, and the Golden Knights' roster will be announced during the awards broadcast.

Sports commentator Skip Bayless raised the question of why Woods did not appear to have known how his body would react to the medication he had been taking for a long time and chose to get behind the wheel.

The field sobriety test was a failure from the start.

"But I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again".

Woods announced last week he had undergone a fourth back surgery in April that will keep him off the course for the rest of the 2017 season, and he is unlikely to engage in strenuous physical activity for months.

Asked where he was headed, Woods said, "I have no idea".
