Buy a New Apple iMac or Wait for iMac Pro?

It has less to do with the new 10.5 inch iPad Pro model and more to do with the way iOS 11 will let you use an iPad.

Verizon offers the 10.5-inch iPad Pro from Dollars 32.49 a month for 24 months; 0 percent April, on Verizon device payment (USD 779.99 retail) and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts from USD 38.74 a month for 24 months; 0 percent April, on Verizon device payment (USD 929.99 retail).

The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which replaces the 9.7-inch model, features a display that's 20 percent larger, despite being practically the same size as the older model. With iOS 11, its touch-screen laptop wannabe-the iPad Pro -will not only get file folders, complete with drag and drop, but a macOS-style Dock, Apple's less-functional response to the Windows Taskbar.

For the iPad tablet there will be a new Pro model with a 10.5in screen, up from the current 9.7in. Further, some of Apple's notebooks will now feature more powerful graphics. In short, the new Apple iMac Pro 2017 comes packed with plenty of combinations. As a quick refresher, Apple's flagship MacBook Pro was derided for being overpriced and under-powered, with many users lamenting the fact that Apple's pro-oriented machine could only support 16GB of RAM.

Overall, Apple's update to the MacBook line indicate that the company is committed updating its hardware more frequently - the same can be said about its long overdue internal update to the iMac. Instead of a real keyboard, you can use the keyboard attachment for the iPad Pro that isn't as good (or as cheap) as a real keyboard.

It's worth noting that the iMac physically looks the same as its predecessor; according to Apple, beyond the addition of rear vents the design of the all-in-one is the same.

But I am not sure the Lions are missing out on a whole heap at 8 at the moment. While he was at it, he couldn't resist taking a dig at poor Warren Gatland .

Apple's new 64-bit A10X Fusion chip helps users complete tasks like edit photos, 4K video and render 3D images. To power these screens, the whole iMac line is getting more powerful graphics cards, with up to three times the speed of the previous generation. The 13-inch model without TouchBar begins at Rs 109900 for its 128GB variant and Rs 126900 for its 256GB one. Both will start shipping on June 15. Green Screen features were once only the domain of expensive editing packages - now you can do it right there on your phone.

Here's what you need to know.

Expect to read my full Apple iMac Pro review in the near future. Storage on the entry-level models has also been doubled to 64GB. Apple's iOS 11, also available in the fall, gains a ton of new enhancements that range from detailed floor plans of airport and mall interiors in the Maps app to a redesigned App Store.

The introduction of Files on iPad may not seem exciting, but it's actually a pretty important improvement.

Apple also unveiled its work on augmented reality (AR), which is impressive.

Now, if you're wondering why these sound so much like what desktops have been able to do for the past two decades or more, you'd be spot on!
