Warriors' Green Says Cavs Fans, Cleveland Not the 'Sharpest'

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) reacts against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the first half in game four of the 2017 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena.

The parallels between this Game 4 - with the Warriors losing their composure and picking up several technicals as a team, not to mention Green's freakish moment where he briefly expected to be ejected - and the one these teams played a year ago were unmistakable. Cleveland took Game 3 at home, lost Game 4 and then won the final three - Game 7 in Oakland - to capture the city's first sports championship since 1964.

When asked about what he heard from the P.A. announcer in the first quarter when everyone believed the technical foul was on him, as opposed to Warriors coach Steve Kerr, Green said, "I don't pay much attention".

There doesn't seem to be anything that rattles them, so it should be no surprise that on the verge of being swept by a Warriors team James called a "juggernaut" and "beast" before the Finals began, Cleveland dug down deep again. Nope. Did he get a technical foul?

"We were able to get out in transition and score some easy baskets", Lue said after the 137-116.

Love's role will be one of several cat-and-mouse games these two teams - and, more specifically, their coaching staffs - will be conducting as this series goes on.

The game got chippy in the third quarter as James and Durant received double technical fouls after a heated exchange of words.

"I don't like it", James said. "The table informed us that it was his second technical foul and (he was) ejected". Against the Warriors. It's true, no team has come back from 0-3, not just in the Finals but in the playoffs, period.

Iran arrests seven Tehran attack suspects
The Sunni jihadists of IS consider Shiite Iran to be apostates, and Tehran is deeply involved in fighting the group in both Syria and Iraq.

The Cavs know Kevin Durant makes the Warriors a higher mountain to climb. Green was suspended for Game 5 past year for punching James in the groin during Game 4.

"Tonight we had 27 assists, and that's very key", James said. "No matter what you need to inspire uyou, whatever you need to grab ahold of, chalkboard material.kudos to them for finding whatever it took to play an fantastic game, which they did". Were it not for Green's suspension a year ago, we would talking about three rings and a dynasty, or as Pat Riley used to say, the "Threepeat". They set a Finals record for points in a quarter (49) and 3s in a game (24). Kyrie Irving torched Klay Thompson to the tune of 40 points yet again and stuck right to Stephen Curry's hip.

Of course, no one is blaming the Warriors in this situation (or, at least, I would hope no one is).

James rejoined the Cavaliers in 2014 determined to bring a championship to his home state and brought the team back to relevance after four consecutive losing seasons. But coming back now would mean waking every last ghost from their collapse in the final three games of the 2016 Finals.

"Different team, man", Curry said.

And apparently, even after the Cavs' Game 4 win that restored some drama to these Finals, we're still not moving on from Squatgate.

SAN FRANCISCO-It's about time the rather combustible Draymond Green showed up at the National Basketball Association final. Look at our TV ratings, looking at the money our league is pouring in. I want to see how it feels to win at home.

Green's remarks were part of a roughly nine-minute media session that allowed the all-star power forward to riff on everything that happened during Friday's wild game - the unusual actions of the referees, Cleveland's insanely hot shooting, his own interactions with the crowd.
