I didn't ask for Comey's loyalty and would say so under oath

President Donald Trump has broken his silence on the James Comey hearing, declaring that the almost three hours of Senate testimony from the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director on Thursday amounted to "total and complete vindication" of his actions after winning the election in November.

Trump has a history of making legal threats against his adversaries and not following through. Who would ask a man to pledge allegiance under oath?

"No, I didn't say that, and I didn't say the other", he added.

He also admitted that he orchestrated the leak of information contained in some memos he wrote to the media after Trump tweeted, "James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!".

The reporter then asked, "So he lied about that?" Yet, even with all this Russian Federation scandal swirling around the White House, Sessions didn't update the record on his false testimony to a Senate panel concerning his own interactions with Kislyak until March 6, nearly two months after giving sworn testimony otherwise.

President Trump on if "tapes" exist of his conversations with Comey: "Well, I'll tell you about that maybe sometime in the near future". "I mean, I will tell you, I didn't say that, and there would be nothing wrong if I did say it according to everybody that I've read today, but I did not say that".

Earlier Friday, Trump tweeted that Comey's testimony was a "total and complete vindication" for him "despite so many false statements and lies".

And in North Korea, the government scolded Trump for pulling the USA out of the Paris climate agreement.

Golden State Warriors Get The Best Of The NBA's First Finals Trilogy
Durant came to the Warriors to be the guy who could allow them to meet and overcome James's unrelenting talent and will. In the second quarter of the contest, James ran down the court on a fast break against Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson .

"I don't think it's for me to say whether the conversation I had with the president was an effort to obstruct", Comey testified.

While Trump might feel vindicated, Comey's reputation as a truth-teller didn't seem to take a hit. Comey's testimony is certain to dominate the question-and-answer session.

Comey said he needed to get the information to the public after he was sacked by the president.

Collins, a member of the Senate intelligence committee, which is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 election, said Comey's motivation "may have been a good one".

Comey said he had hoped releasing the information via the media would prompt the appointment of a special counsel to handle the Russian Federation probe, a ploy that ultimately proved successful. He cited Trump's "shifting explanations", which he said included Trump saying on TV "that he actually fired me because of the Russian Federation investigation".

A 30-second ad created by the pro-Trump Great America Alliance - a non-profit "issues" group that doesn't have to disclose its donors - cast Comey as a "showboat" who was "consumed with election meddling" instead of focusing on fighting terrorism.
