Kei Nishikori earns rare win to reach quarterfinals again

PARIS-Getting better and better, Andy Murray worked his way into the quarterfinals of the French Open for the fourth straight year by beating Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 on Monday.

Nishikori, who beat Murray in the quarter-finals of last year's U.S. Open, could not sustain his early form and despite courageously forcing a third-set tiebreak he lost that 7-0. "I have to dictate as many points as I can", Murray said.

Nine-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal and outgoing champion Novak Djokovic — who lost his quarterfinal against Dominic Thiem — have also had run-ins with Ramos at this tournament. Today's match wasn't particularly long, and there were not many long rallies.

He will take on Murray for a place in the semifinals, with the Briton prevailing in eight of their 10 previous meetings.

In the women's draw, third seed Simona Halep battled back from a set down to beat Elina Svitolina 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-0. I have never seen that.

"When we changed ends at 1-0 he told me, 'You're playing too slowly.' And then my second service game I got the warning".

Ubisoft reveals Beyond Good and Evil 2, new trailer released
Beyond Good and Evil 2 has just reached the point of being able to travel through spacetime online by yourself or with friends. One of the biggest names in the industry, Ubisoft , will be taking to the stage soon to unveil its newest games.

The second-seeded Karolina Pliskova also fought hard to overcome Veronica Cepede Royg 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, In an all-France contest, the No. 28 seed Caroline Garcia defeated Alize Cornet 6-2, 6-4.

"I think he's been pointing towards the French for quite a while and he's acting like the player that we look at and go 'that guy's ranked number one in the world right now'". I think if someone is intentionally slowing a match down, you know, they should be punished for that, but it's a rule that is going to be challenging regardless of whether there is a clock on the court or not.

Instead of discussing the match in the traditional on-court TV interview, Murray remembered the 29 people who died in the recent outrages in London and Manchester. "He's tougher to beat in the Slams", said McEnroe. He's very confident but you can have one bad day and you're not allowed to have any more bad days because the opponents are strong. I think he's been struggling a little bit since the beginning of the year, even though he's now in the semi-final. This is only the second time in his career that Bopanna has reached the summit clash of a Grand Slam. All four players are seeking a first grand slam title.

He is the oldest man to make the last four since Jimmy Connors in 1985.

Murray dropped serve at the start of the fourth set but otherwise outplayed the eighth seed, reeling off six games in a row on route to victory.
