How the suspected NSA leaker Reality Leigh Winner was caught

And in a response to Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, who said "We will never use our weapons against anyone, except in self-defense", victor proclaimed her support for Iran, writing: "There are many Americans protesting USA govt aggression towards Iran".

"Her words to me was that she was scared she was going to be. they were going to make her disappear", Billie Winner-Davis said Tuesday. Victor remained locked up Tuesda.

"She's not a flight risk", Winner's stepfather, Gary Davis, said.

Winner's is the latest in a string of cases involving breaches at the National Security Agency, a super secret code-breaking agency still smarting from Edward Snowden's 2013 disclosures of its global surveillance programs.

The document does not suggest the cyber attack changed votes, according to The Intercept report, but "raises the possibility that Russian hacking may have breached at least some elements of the voting system, with some disconcertingly uncertain results".

On Monday, the Department of Justice announced that 25-year-old Reality Leigh Winner, a federal contractor from Augusta, Georgia, had been arrested for leaking classified documents to an unnamed online publication, which is believed to be The Intercept.

"She will be entering a plea of not guilty", Titus Nichols told ABC News.

Winner's arrest stunned her relatives and associates, and it shone a sudden spotlight on the young woman, who now faces up to a decade in prison.

The former Air Force linguist, who speaks Arabic and Farsi and had a top-secret security clearance, was working as a government contractor in Augusta when she copied and mailed a classified report containing top-secret material to an online news organization, prosecutors say.

Victor is accused of leaking an NSA report, published by The Intercept on Monday, that detailed Russian attempts to hack a voting software vendor and local election officials. The New York Times reported that creases or folds on the scanned document posted by The Intercept "suggesting they had been printed and hand-carried out of a secured space".

Prosecutors warned U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Epps that victor might have more stolen secrets.

Pakistan lead 72-52 on the limited overs head-to-head in a fixture that grips not just the two nations but the whole globe. India have the best strike rate during this phase, but are second in terms of average, and third in economy rates.

Victor was taken into custody last week. She said authorities don't know what happened to the drive or what was on it.

We talked more with Cox about his reporting on the situation.

Winner posted under a pseudonym, Sara Winners, but didn't seem concerned with concealing her identity, using a photo of herself as a profile picture and posting a selfie in February. "So she's got a lot of valuable information in her head". Prosecutors did not say which federal agency victor worked for, but FBI agent Justin Garrick said in an affidavit filed with the court that she had previously served in the Air Force and held a top-secret security clearance.

But a U.S. judge at a hearing today will weigh the risks of freeing Reality Winner, a former air force linguist with an otherwise unblemished record, pending trial. "The government is scraping and clawing to build a mountain out of a molehill".

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein released a statement after Winner's arrest praising law enforcement for acting quickly against leaks. Victor also was a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and had said on Twitter that "being white is terrorism".

Winner-Davis and her husband said they have spoken to Winner by telephone since her arrest and saw her briefly at a hearing Monday. The other major consideration is whether or not she presents any type of danger to the community, " Tarver said.

Her daughter called her Saturday to say she was in trouble.

Solari cautioned that prosecutors were not trying to link victor to terrorism.

Victor is accused of "removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet".

Only six, and victor was one of them.

A judge scheduled a hearing Thursday afternoon to determine whether to allow victor to be released from pre-trial confinement.
