Greencoat Renewables to list on Dublin and London stock exchanges

Greencoat Renewables's Kill Hill windfarm

The new firm aims to build a portfolio of renewable electricity assets with an initial focus on wind assets in Ireland, where it sees an opportunity to consolidate operational wind farms.

The company said the move would make it the first renewable energy infrastructure company to be listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, providing it with capital to invest in operating Irish wind farms.

"Our intention to raise new capital and list on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges is an exciting next step for Greencoat Renewables", Mr Murphy said.

In March it acquired a 137-MW seed portfolio of two operating Irish wind farms from Brookfield Renewables Ireland.

United Kingdom solar and wind asset owner Greencoat Renewables is eying an IPO to raise as much as €250 million (US$280 million) to pursue additional wind and solar projects across Europe.

The same argument applies to Martin, who still has two years with an average-annual salary of $4.85 million left on his contract. Here are seven of the most intriguing players that the league's newest team, the Vegas Golden Knights , could select.

Greencoat would join esteemed company on the London Stock Exchange with funds from established United Kingdom asset owners such as Foresight and NextEnergy Capital - who hold significant shares of United Kingdom solar capacity - also listed. "ISIF and AIB, who funded the company's acquisition of the seed portfolio, have made conditional investment commitments of up to €105m (in aggregate) in the capital raising", the company said.

Bertrand Gautier, partner of Greencoat Capital, the Investment Manager, said the company offered an attractive proposition to investors.

In a statement, Greencoat said it expects to be the first listed renewable energy infrastructure company on Irish Stock Exchange.

Rockpool said it has been formed to undertake an acquisition of a company or business headquartered or materially based in Northern Ireland.
