The Golden State Warriors Are Undecided On Visit To Trump's White House

Here's why Steph Curry was smoking a cigar when he went on NBA TV

A representative for the Warriors was not immediately available to discuss reports of the team's alleged decision not to visit Trump. But what we don't know-and what there is high speculation brewing around-is if the Warriors will actually make the traditional visit to the White House.

They have spent the entire season criticising President Donald Trump, and now it appears the Golden State Warriors are about to snub him in sensational fashion. "We will handle that accordingly and responsibly, and do the right thing for us individually and as a group".

Back-up forward Andre Iguodala expressed his personal objection to the prospect of potentially visiting the White House, as is custom for National Basketball Association champion teams.

The Warriors have not issued an official comment on the decision.

One dead in London mosque attack
The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that there have been no reports of Malaysians involved in the Finsbury Park attack in London . Toufik Kacimi, chief executive of the Muslim Welfare House, tells Sky News there is no "need to react with tension".

In a short statement Tuesday, the Warriors said: "Today is all about celebrating our championship".

Others who may also get a ring include Anderson Varejao (who was cut in February), Jose Calderon (who never had the chance to play with Golden State because they cut him to make room for Matt Barnes) and former Cavs coach Mike Brown. I might call him and say, "If they ask, just say our schedules conflicted". Y'all might write about it. "There might be somebody different in (office)", said Iguodala. Throughout the year, both players and coaches across the league have been very public and very clear about their feelings regarding the Trump presidency, with Warriors coach Steve Kerr speaking out against the president's proposed Muslim ban and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich offering an indictment of Trump. Curry, who is under contract with Under Armour said he agreed with the statement if you removed the "et" from that word, essentially calling President Trump "an ass". "This is a moment we all need to enjoy together and nothing should distract from what we were able to accomplish together".

"We're obviously just getting started", Curry said after closing out Cleveland in Monday night's NBA Finals game five.
