Amy Poehler and Jimmy Fallon Team Up With Kids for Trivia Challenge

In the vein of the game show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? comes Jimmy Fallon's take with Are You Smarter Than a Smart Girl?

They each teamed up with a young partner to play a trivia game called Are You Smarter Than a Smart Girl?, a shout-out to Poehler's Smart Girls organization, which encourages girls to change the world by being themselves. Anaya whispered the correct answer of 72 to Poehler, who then said, "That's what I meant [by] 73 - after I buy an extra slice". Anaya, an author, enjoys working with duct tape while Maya is actually a skilled rapper - preferably, with songs from Hamilton. Later in the show, Poehler opened up about her new comedy, which co-stars Will Ferrell, in which she creates a casino in her own house. As the actress told Fallon, it's about "supporting the wonderful curious young girl" and "encouraging [her] to be herself".

Ronaldo strikes as Portugal down Russia at Confederations Cup
It's second half erased any potential damage. "We've been trying to figure out if they will make chances", said NZ boss Hudson. The hosts pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages of the second but were unable to bypass the Portugal defence.

As the competition began, Poehler started off by choosing math.

While neither team got the exact number, Poehler and Anaya got the closest. Taking a cue from his unforgettable predecessors, including hosts Johnny Carson and Jay Leno, Fallon carrys on the tradition that audiences know and love - kicking off every show with the iconic "Tonight Show" monologue.
