Stephen Colbert wonders who else could replace the irreplaceable Sean Spicer

"Sean, I have so many questions".

"The nice thing about turning the cameras off sometimes, and I find this, is that it is not 'performance art, ' as you call it, that you end up having, I think sometimes, a more substantive discussion about actual issues because they're not trying to get their clip", Spicer opined.

"Supposedly, Spicer isn't actually being fired", explained Colbert.

"I don't work in the building, but I can tell you this - the president is very happy with the team that he has", he said.

Colbert mocked Spicer who prohibited cameras and audio recordings during the briefing, but he admitted it wasn't almost as low a blow as Steve Bannon's recent fat-shaming remarks against the poor embattled press secretary. But according to White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, the briefings were held off camera because "Sean got fatter".

McNabb first to don new Golden Knights jersey
Berube, who was taken from the Islanders , may be on the move even though the team only selected three goalies. The NHL chose to have the list of players chosen by the Vegas Knights announced at the annual NHL Awards show.

"Ow! That is a low blow from a guy who looks like he's either got the meat sweats or is sweaty meat".

That Spicer has become an object of ridicule for "Saturday Night Live" and the late-night shows has not been lost on the right.

On NBC's Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon told his audience about the reports that the White House is moving Spicer to "a more senior role focused on strategy". "He's being promoted to White House communications director, which means he's leading a search for his own replacement". The clip mocks Spicer's organizational skills, ability to speak clearly and attention to detail.

Spicer responded to the rumors of changes to the communications team at a Tuesday press conference, his first on-camera briefing in eight days.

He joked that when asked about why no recording was allowed, there was a response of silence from Spicer because "Nothing was recorded in there, we don't know" what was said.
