Facebook tests a GIF maker on iOS

Facebook camera lets you create GIFs

Facebook is testing a GIF creator in the camera section of the iOS app. After you're done customising the GIF, you can then save the final creation to your phone's camera roll, upload it to your Facebook Story, or post it to your profile.

TNW discovered it this morning. You will also be able to use Facebook's effects and frames that were normally available in the camera.

It appears that the social media giant is trying out a new feature for its mobile app that allows you to make your own GIFs, according to The Next Web.

DiNardo, Possible Accomplice Charged With Murder
Patrick disappeared on July 5, and the rest were last seen two days later. "They're combing through vast fields and buildings". In his confession, Dinardo detailed a series of shocking killings with no clear motive. "That will come out in time".

A Facebook representative confirmed the feature is now being tested with a "very small number of iOS users" for the time being, but notes there will be more information about this GIF maker arriving in a few weeks' time.

Spotted by The Next Web, this Facebook camera feature can be accessed by tapping the camera icon at the top left corner of the app. For now, not all the iOS users have received it as Facebook seems to be in the process of rolling out the update to the users. App developers on both iOS and Android have made a number of different apps focused on creating GIFs, but the new Facebook GIF creator adds a new level to the entertainment.

FacebookCan you share these GIFs elsewhere? Just swipe right to start making quick GIFs. Before that, Facebook did not enable the GIF because the company thought adding GIFs to the News Feed would just make things more chaotic.
