Manchester Fire Brigade were called at around 11.40pm yesterday evening and police this morning confirmed they are treating it as suspicious.

The fire, which police believe was started when someone forced open a window and placed an "unknown accelerant inside", is being treated as a hate crime by Greater Manchester...

The Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation of the fire. We sent five pumps to the scene and an investigation is now underway'.

In the latest attack, pictures from the scene show flames erupting from the roof of the single-storey building.

The same facility was previously targeted in an Islamophobic attack when unidentified people threw two pigs' heads into it during prayer, and a minibus belonging to the center was destroyed in a 2014 arson attack. The official added there was no one inside the centre at the time.
