Resapwn Entertainment: Titanfall 2 "Was Successful" But Should Have Sold Better

Titanfall 2

The mobile RTS game based in the Titanfall universe, called Titanfall Assault, is coming to Android and iOS on August 10.

I got to agree with Pachter and Zampella on this one, releasing Titanfall 2 in the same window as COD and Battlefield 1 was a huge mistake one which greatly undermined the potential of perhaps one of the most fantastic title in recent history. Maybe because it was super crowded, the pricing was aggressive-it was a rough window to launch our game", Zampella told Gamespot, referring to how Titanfall 2 launched alongside several other big-name games, including Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: "Infinite Warfare.

Much has already been said about Titanfall 2's lower-than-expected sales, and now Respawn boss Vince Zampella has spoken more about the topic. However he also admitted that sales might have been better if the game was released in a different window. However, there's a plenty amount of things that can be loved in Titanfall 2 and even the reviews are positive, both critically and generally.

Kremlin to Release GoPro Footage From Putin's Spear-Fishing Trip
According to some Political analysts, Putin takes adventure holidays to show the nation that he is still strong and healthy. The Russian President a keen practitioner of martial arts and ice hockey and is known for his strong-man publicity stunts.

As for the series' future, Zampella was clear the franchise will continue, but couldn't say how. That project is still wrapped in secrecy and we won't be talking about it for a while. It does demonstrates that Respawn is interested in the franchise it created, but perhaps it's investigating new and other ways to explore the universe beyond complete installments going forward. Some of those "other things" include the mobile game Titanfall: Assault, which I'm looking into this week ahead of its full launch. We have our franchise creative director, who's in charge of safeguarding the franchise in multiple formats and making sure it continues to grow.

During the interview, Zampella made certain to state that it's important to "keep the franchise going", and that the company is absolutely working on more Titanfall, adding snarkily that that is the "quote" he's "supposed to say".

Zampella stated that Respawn probably won't do any more big content packs for Titanfall 2 like last week's Frontier Defense because, in his words, "We want to work on new stuff".
