Ousmane Dembele Keen To Join Barcelona, Dortmund Unwilling To Sell

2:44 | Soccer Neymar Has a Few Reasons For His Surprising Move to PSG

Borussia Dortmund are willing to enter negotiations with Barcelona over a transfer of winger Ousmane Dembele, according to multiple reports in Germany.

Addressing the persistent rumours at the weekend, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said that a rumoured transfer of around €100 million would not be enough for the France worldwide, who has four years left on his deal at the Westfalenstadion.

Liverpool have indicated they will not sell at any price this summer and are not willing to negotiate, but Barca remain hopeful an offer of €110m ($A163) could see them broker a deal for the Brazil worldwide.

For Liverpool, it would make sense to hold on to him for one more season at least.

Liverpool are now claimed to have reluctantly accepted Barca's offer, which will see an initial fee of £81.6m being paid for the 25-year-old - although publicly the club are still briefing no deal has been agreed.

Hurricane forecasters hike number of named storms in 2017 season update
Forecasters are also predicting 2-5 major hurricanes, which is an increase from May's report of 2-4 major hurricanes. This in an increase from initial predictions in May which only anticipated 11 - 17 named storms.

The young Frenchman's stellar performances last season has made him one of the top prospects in Europe, and at just 20-years-old, he's bound to get even better.

Dembélé has removed Borussia Dortmund from his Twitter and Instagram bio.

The French worldwide had been chased by a number of Europe's top sides a year ago before he joined the Bundesliga club in a £12m deal from Rennes.

Whether Barca intend to sign Dembele and Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho remains to be seen, but reports in Spain have suggested their intention is to reinvest all the Neymar money.

It is the biggest transfer story in world football right now.
