In this film, Akshay Kumar plays the role of a maanglik boy Keshav who is forced to marry a Buffalo just to get his stars ride. Both are staying in two nearby villages near Mathura. Also, her choices of films are apt and "Toilet" is one such film after her big Bollywood debut in "Dum Laga Ke Haisha". It is a movie that one should have surely watch as it talks about the most serious issue of India that is an open defecation issue.

Keshav (Akshay Kumar) runs a small cycle business in Mathura with his father and younger brother Naru (Divyenndu Sharma). Despite all the positives, the length of the film is an issue. Bhumi is refreshing to watch on screen and matches Akshay Kumar in every possible way. However, the repetitiveness may hamper Toilet: Ek Prem Katha's impact. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Bhatia.
