Taylor Swift's mom wanted to avoid fallout from alleged groping

A sketch of Taylor Swift and her lawyers in Denver Federal Court in the US during the trial

Mueller has claimed the interaction was "jostling" in preparation for a photo, and that if he touched anything, it was her ribs.

She testified guard Greg Dent saw David Mueller "lift my skirt" and grab her but that it was it was impossible for anyone to see Mueller's hand beneath her skirt and on her buttock because they were posing for the photo with their backs to a wall.

Evidently satisfied with Swift's testimony, her attorney, Douglas Baldridge, declined to question her after McFarland finished. But asked by his own lawyer whether he had grabbed Swift's backside, Mueller said flatly, "No, I did not". "A very long grab".

Swift testified that after she was grabbed she "got as far away from him as I possibly could".

But before Swift could testify, the judge's first order of business was to announce that Taylor's mom, Andrea Swift, was not feeling well and had been granted leave from court proceedings for the day.

Call also testified that Mueller had changed his story, first denying the incident occurred at all and then conceding that it might have taken place, but that any contact would have been "accidental or incidental". It had never happened before. Swift herself used the word "a**" dozens of times on the witness stand.

Taylor Swift's mother testified Wednesday that she sees something "horribly wrong" in an image taken during a 2013 pre-concert event that the singer contends shows a radio DJ from Denver groping her.

Mueller denied groping her in testimony on Wednesday.

"Yes, she did not have her hand on my ass", Swift replied. "I could have picked him out of a line of a thousand". Her lawsuit makes the case that her active participation in the trial will "serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts". Swift counter-sued Mueller for just one dollar, to prove a point.

Taylor Swift told a court in Colorado that a local disc jockey had reached beneath her skirt to grab her bottom during a photoshoot before a concert. "I have the photograph".

On his way, he chose to climb over a woman in a mostly empty row, rather than walk up the aisle. The more we try to change, the better we can become.

Mueller's laywer questioned by Swift continued to do the meet-and-greet with fans after the moment where the grope allegedly happened, to which she sayd she didn't want to disappoint her fans. She said: 'It was a definite grab ... a very long grab.

"I'm being blamed for the unfortunate events of his life that are a product of his decisions, not mine", she told jurors.

In 2015 he sued Swift, her mother, Andrea Swift, and her radio promotions director Frank Bell, alleging that they pressured KYGO to terminate him and that he lost his job because of a false accusation.

But if Swift believes she was assaulted - as she clearly does - it is hard to view her actions Thursday as something other than courageous and important.

Swift's team told KYGO, a CNN affiliate, about the incident, and Mueller, then 51, was sacked two days later. The former radio host claimed he was falsely accused of assault.

Coomer said he first heard about Mueller's claim two years after Mueller was sacked from KYGO. Call testified that he had known Bell for many years and had no reason to doubt him.

Swift said she did not need the photo to remember Mueller.

The pop superstar used explicit language that seemed created to avoid sugar-coating what she said was a sexual assault when she posed for a picture with David Mueller in 2013.

However, Gabriel McFarland, Mueller's attorney, said the photo did not show the inappropriate under-skirt touching that Swift has alleged.

Swift, who was 23 at the time, did not file a police report.
