Sammy Watkins, Buffalo Bills wide receiver, traded to Los Angeles Rams

Bills trade Watkins to Rams get Matthews from Eagles

But when he's healthy, Watkins is one of the most dynamic receivers in the game.

Sammy Watkins is heading west to the Los Angeles Rams as the Buffalo Bills send their former first-round pick to the Rams in exchange for cornerback E.J Gaines and a 2018 second-round pick.

"We want to thank E.J. for all he has contributed to our organization since we drafted him in 2014", added Snead.

The following year, he was named a finalist for the NFL's Rookie of the Year award.

We've acquired WR Jordan Matthews and a 2018 3rd round pick from the Eagles for CB Ronald Darby. The Bills declined to pick up his fifth-year option earlier this offseason, fueling speculation that he might be moved by the team's new management.

Defend Europe then posted its own statement , claiming that reports of trouble were overblown. When the rescue boat arrived at the stranded ship, the crew of the C Star refused help.

Watkins, the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, played three seasons in Buffalo - recording 153 catches, 2,459 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns over 37 games. He won a starting job in 2015 but then got hurt before the season started. The 24-year-old receiver struggled in 2016, totaling 28 catches for 430 yards and two touchdowns over eight games while dealing with a foot injury.

The Rams need playmakers for an offence that finished last in the National Football League over the past two seasons.

Watkins and Matthews will both become unrestricted free agents in March. Watkins required a second operation in January after aggravating the injury last season. They have the Rams second-round pick and the Eagles third-round pick in addition to their own choices in those respective rounds.

As for Darby, who finished second in voting for defensive rookie of the year in 2015, he has two years remaining on his contract.
