DJ Mueller denies Taylor Swift's accusations: 'I did not grab her'

Taylor Swift

US District Judge William Martinez decided that Swift was not liable as Mueller has not been able to provide sufficent evidence that she had gone out of her way to fire him from his position.

A security guard for Swift, Greg Dent, took the stand Friday in Denver federal court.

The judge in Taylor Swift's groping trial has thrown DJ David Mueller's case out of court.

According to Gossip Cop and the Associated Press, Mueller is seeking $3 million in damages from Swift, while Swift is seeking just $1 in her suit (in addition to reimbursement for attorneys fees and costs in defending the suit, according to pre-trial documents per The Denver Post). "She's just trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone puts their hand on you".

In between, he did return to the Gentlemen's arena for the ODI series against West Indies, and proved impressive too. At times, the pacers received unexpected movement into the batsmen, a worrying sign for the coming days.

Day FourTaylor Swift herself gave snarky, assured testimony, dropping the word "ass" repeatedly as she drove home her conviction that Mueller had intentionally groped her during a meet-and-greet photo-op.

The alleged assault is said to have occurred in 2013 during a Denver stopover on the singer's Red tour. However, Mueller denies the groping claims. The photo of Swift, Mueller and his girlfriend shows the morning show host on radio station KYGO with his hand behind the singer's rear end. "So in my opinion, I knew he touched her", he said.

His testimony came a day after Ms Swift took the stand to describe the incident, calling it a "definite grab". "The court finds as a matter of law that Taylor Swift did not act improperly", concluded Martinez, which means that the singer-songwriter is removed from legal liability. "A very long grab". "It was horrifying and shocking".

She said she noticed nothing amiss during the brief meeting and that she and Mr Mueller were rudely escorted out of the arena later that evening.
