The success of "OK Kanmani" has made Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan a sensation down South. The film will mark Akarsh's debut as a director and will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Dulquer is now busy with the shooting for a Telugu movie titled "Mahanati", which is a biopic on yesteryear's silver screen diva Savithri.

Helicopter reportedly crashes in woods in Albemarle County
Senior law enforcement official confirms that Virginia State Police troopers were killed in the helicopter crash this afternoon. Police said that no one on the ground was hurt or injured as a result of the crash.

If reports are to be believed, Dulquer Salmaan's Bollywood debut will be helmed by debut film-maker Akash Khurana, who has co-scripted the superhit movie Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani. After winning hearts in Anjali Menon's Bangalore Days (2014), Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani (2015), Martin Prakkat's Charlie (2015) and Rajeev Ravi's Kammattipadam (2016), Salmaan will star in an untitled movie by Akarsh Khurana along with Irrfan and Mithila Palkar (Little Things, Girl In The City).

Dulquer is gearing up for the release of Bejoy Nambiar's Malayalam-Tamil bilingual, Solo, and Soubin Shahir's Malayalam film Parava. As per a source close to the project, it was revealed, "It's a light-hearted comedy that will see Dulquer and Irrfan as friends on a road trip". The film will go on the floors by the end of the month in Kerala. Irrfan is at the Locarno Film Festival for the world premiere of The Song of Scorpions. The fascination for the Malayalam star has crossed the state borders and have reached the North with many now clamouring for the actor to make his Bollywood debut soon.
