Tom Cruise reportedly injured in 'Mission: Impossible 6' stunt

Run up Despite his high-wire heroics his typically well coiffed quiff remained intact during his rooftop stunt

The latest part of the franchise is now being filmed in London and is expected to arrive in cinemas on July 27, 2018.

Cruise is well-known for doing his own stunts in his action-packed films, and in 2015, made headlines for a particularly death-defying scene that found him hanging off the side of an airplane.

The 55-year-old actor appeared to injure himself while filming a scene for Mission: Impossible 6 in London on Sunday where he jumps between two buildings.

Cruise reportedly "hit the building pretty hard" and can be seen limping after pulling himself onto a platform.

Arsenal score two late goals for comeback win vs. Leicester City
But then Arsenal's super-subs came to the rescue: Aaron Ramsey drew the scores on 83 minutes, before Giroud's sublime header gave the Gunners all three points.

After Cruise pulled himself onto the roof, he briefly continued the scene by limping off camera, nearly looking like the fall short was a planned part of the stunt. He is eventually pulled away by members of the crew.

Meanwhile, producer David Ellison previously revealed that Cruise has been "training for a year" for his role in "Mission: Impossible 6".

The extent of the star's injuries are unknown, as his representatives could not immediately be reached by the Daily News.

Cruise was performing a stunt on set where he was jumping from building to building. In the original Mission: Impossible, when the actor ran from the exploding aquarium restaurant, he hurt his ankle.
