Illegal immigrants found locked in hot trailer in Edinburg, Texas

At least 17 immigrants were found in a trailer in Texas Sunday, local reports say. He reported that the trailer was getting too hot inside for them, according to reports.

Edinburg Police Assistant Chief Oscar Trevino said their department received a call from someone who said they were in Mexico and their relative was locked inside an 18-wheeler that was parked in the South Texas city. After knocking on one of the trailers, police officials heard a knock back and ultimately found 17 illegal locked inside the trailer.

The individuals inside were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and Romania. Their condition is unknown at this time.

A man and woman who were looking after the trailer were arrested and the U.S. Border Patrol is now investigating, Fox reported.
