Nokia 8 launched, boast of dual-sight mode

Nokia 8 Smartphone with 13MP Camera launched globally, to soon be available in India

Apart from the unique new feature, the phone contains similar properties like other phones such as a strong chipset, sharp display, dual cameras and other similar features, reported Business Insider. The Nokia 3, 5 and 6 have now all become available to interested buyers - but they were all decidedly lower-to-midrange designs.

Nokia 8 will be begin rolling out in Sepember. The smartphone will run stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It comes in Gloss Blue, Polished Copper, Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, and Steel finishes.

HMD Global has confirmed the India launch of the Nokia 8. HMD Global is made up of ex-Nokia executives, who will be hoping that the brand's history is enough to put this on a lot of people's shopping lists. Let us now take a detailed look at specifications of the Nokia 8. Under the hood, it gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB or 8GB RAM options.

The Nokia 8 is priced at 599 euros ($705).

This is perhaps one of the most talked about features of the Nokia 8.

Top US general says China needs to increase pressure on N.Korea
This is Gen Dunford's first visit to China in his position as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He said no US military action on the Korean Peninsula could be taken without Seoul's consent.

The Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch IPS display with QHD (1,440 x 2,560) screen resolution. Nokia is going to launch the Snapdragon 835 in an event that is conducted in London at 7.30 PM which is at 12 AM on August 17 as per Indian timing.

Nokia 8 is also the first smart phone to feature Nokia OZO Audio. Users can use the 64GB internal storage with the microSD support up to 256GB external memory. It has a vertically stacked set of dual rear cameras (13MP Colour sensor with OIS and 13MP Mono sensor), and there's a front 13MP camera all well. The phone comes dual rear cameras with Zeiss Optics, Splashproof (IP54), OZO 360-degree Audio, and includes USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.

The Nokia 8 introduces a world-first in enabling Dual-Sight video to be livestreamed natively and in real-time to social feeds such as Facebook and YouTube, the company claimed. It's a 13MP shooter on front with an f/2.0 aperture.

Using a bit of software hocus pocus, the Nokia 8 can split the screen to display from the front and rear of the phone simultaneously, allowing pictures and videos that show the photographer's reaction alongside the image's subject.
