Strictly has announced its newest line-up... but where are the stars

The flurry of names attached to the dancing series come shortly after reports claimed that the competition series was allegedly finding it more hard to get famous faces to sign up this year because of the much talked about "Strictly Curse".

Double Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock is the 14th celebrity confirmed for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. Alexandra Burke is a singer-songwriter who won the 2008 series of The X Factor, and famously got to duet on the show with Beyonce.

In addition to Charlotte, The Mirror is reporting that Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu has also signed on the dotted line, while rumours are also swirling that Debbie McGee will be confirmed as another celebrity on the show later today.

"The excitement is overwhelming".
