Nancy Pelosi Actually Dictated Trump's Last Tweet to Him

U.S. President Donald Trump meets with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mc Connell at the White House in Washington U.S

On Wednesday, Trump said that he has "no second thoughts" about his DACA decision and that he hopes Congress can come up with a "a permanent deal" for young, undocumented immigrants. "This is what I asked the president to do and boom, boom, boom, the tweet appeared", she said when describing how she explained the conversation to her colleagues.

Trump later tweeted that he would "revisit" the program if Congress can not "legalize" it in six months.

Mrs. Pelosi also said Mr. Trump gave her assurances in a meeting Wednesday and again in a phone call Thursday morning that he would sign the Dream Act to legalize the young adult illegal immigrants who are now protected by DACA. "We discussed that also today, and Chuck and Nancy would like to see something happen, and so do I. And I said if we can get something to happen, we're going to sign it and we're going to make a lot of happy people".

Mrs. Pelosi spoke with reporters a day after striking a major deal with Mr. Trump on looming fiscal deadlines, agreeing to a three-month extension of government spending and the government's borrowing ability.

"For all those (DACA) that are concerned about your status during the 6 month period, you have nothing to worry about-no action".

Trump Jr Appears On Capitol Hill
He also said he meant to consult with his attorney before proceeding if he had obtained any information on Clinton. In the meantime, here are four critical questions about the investigations that Trump Jr. can help shed light on.

As if the news yesterday that Trump had agreed on a plan presented to him by Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumer regarding the nation's debt limit wasn't infuriating enough for Republicans, more news this morning will likely send many within the GOP over the edge.

Hours later, Pelosi responded to Trump's tweet with a post of her own in which she thanked him for his message, but warned that "real protections" for DACA recipients would result only from Congress passing, and Trump signing, the DREAM Act, which would give eligible undocumented immigrants a path to legalization.

"And I can tell you, in speaking to members of Congress, they want to be able to do something and do it right", he told reporters on Tuesday. It is self-defeating - because they want to start new businesses, staff our labs, serve in our military, and otherwise contribute to the country we love. Democrats remain firmly opposed to providing funding to build a wall along the south-west border.

During a live interview with the New York Times on Thursday morning, Speaker Ryan said he planned to bring a "consensus plan" to the House floor in the next few months.

"We have a responsibility to secure the border", she said, adding that such legislation would not include appropriations for a wall. On Twitter, however, Trump has encouraged Congress to create legislation that addresses those who would have been protected by DACA. He called Pelosi earlier Thursday and made the comment about the Dream Act then, as well as in a meeting on Wednesday, according to Pelosi.
