Jerry Sandusky's Son Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Abuse Charges

He faces up to 8 years

Jeffrey Sandusky, son of Jerry Sandusky, has pled guilty to all 14 counts of child sex abuse on Friday.

A state trooper said in the arrest affidavit that last November, their father turned over to investigators text messages from Sandusky in which he asked one of the girls for nude photographs.

Sandusky was set to go to trial next week in Centre County, Pennsylvania. but entered an early plea of guilty to all counts with the court in the hope of getting a lighter sentence.

Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said the plea deal ensures the victims don't suffer additional trauma by testifying at the trial.

The elder Sandusky was convicted in 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuseand sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison.

Trump's speculation on London attack 'unhelpful,' British officials say
Police say it was a terrorist incident and is being handled by the Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism unit. The device exploded on a District Line train in southwest London at around 8:20 am local time .

"We are happy that these girls can move forward and experience a life with adults that deserve their trust", she said.

Jeffrey Sandusky, a state prison guard, knew the girls through their mother, the authorities said.

Sandusky's pleas guarantee that he will serve 3 to 6 years in state incarceration, but it allows the judge in the case to impose as much as 4 to 8 years at her discretion, according to the district attorney's office. After the father reported this to police, an investigation uncovered another girl who said Sandusky tried to get her to have oral sex with him.

Schultz admitted he didn't do enough to stop Sandusky from sexually abusing boys. Sandusky will be designated a tier III sex offender, the highest tier in Pennsylvania, and will be required to register with state police every three months for the remainder of his life. Sandusky told her "that it's not weird because he studied medicine", and that "nobody needs to know", police said.
