Ousmane Dembele to Miss 3-4 Months After Surgery for Thigh Injury

Barcelona summer signing Ousmane Dembele will be out of action for up to four months after he picked up a thigh injury which requires surgery in his first La Liga start on Saturday against Getafe.

The France worldwide was injured in the 24th minute against Getafe and was forced to leave the field.

"The tests performed on the player of the first team Ousmane Dembélé have determined that he has a rupture of the tendon of the femoral biceps of the left thigh", said Barcelona in an official statement.
