President Trump fires back at North korea leader, calls him "madman"

Kim Jong Un launches North Korea's missile test

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told reporters in NY that the country was debating an atmospheric hydrogen bomb test over the Pacific, but that the decision was one to be made by Kim.

Referring to Trump's Tuesday speech at the UN General Assembly, Kim said: "A frightened dog barks louder. Regarding which measures to take, I don't really know since it is what Kim Jong-un does", said Ri.

His message on "fiery" rhetoric was implicitly directed at North Korean Kim, but also at the United States and President Trump, who later warned of "totally destroying North Korea" if it does not back down.

Kim said Trump's behavior was "mentally deranged" and that he is "unfit" to be president.

"I will surely and definitely tame the deranged US dotard with fire", Kim said on Thursday, according to reports. In his speech to the U.N., Trump vowed to "totally destroy" North Korea if provoked.

Trump initially wrote about domestic policy, threatening Republicans who disagree with the his plan to repeal Obama's health care bill.

One of the first insults Trump lobbed at Kim came well before he was even a candidate for president, according to a search of the Trump's personal Twitter feed.

Ben Carson breaks with Trump in heated Alabama Senate race
Nancy Worley, Chairwoman of the Alabama Democratic Party has something to say about the Presidential visit to Alabama on Friday. Trump's embrace of unusual has put him at odds with his former adviser Steve Bannon and the nationalistic wing of the party.

Shortly after the statement went public, the North Korean foreign minister said the rogue nation planned to test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific, prompting the angry response from Trump Friday morning.

President Trump tweeted early Friday morning that Kim Jong Un is "a madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people", further escalating the tensions between the US and North Korea.

But it was Kim's use of the word "dotard" that sent the Twitterverse to dictionary websites.

The war of words comes along with a war over trade. We have strong allies and strong alliances internationally.

Japan's prime minister said that the country's stance on North Korea's tactics of intimidation align with that of the U.S.

He praised the "very bold move" taken by China's central bank to stop financial transactions with North Korea. Mocking the North Korean President as "Rocket Man" on a suicide mission, Trump was criticized by many including rival Hillary Clinton.

But the original is nearly as unusual as the translation: the North Korean leader referred to Mr Trump as a "늙다리미치광이" ("neulg-dali-michigwang-i"), which translates as an "old beast lunatic" according to a South Korean journalist.
