Russia: Relations with United States poor over 'Russo-phobic hysteria'

Russian FM NATO Wants to Revive Cold War

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is saying he heard positive news in President Donald Trump's United Nations address: "that the USA would not impose its way of life on others".

Russia's foreign minister said Friday the downturn in relations with the United States began with the Obama administration's "small-hearted" and "revengeful" actions and has plummeted further because of "Russo-phobic hysteria".

"If the United States withdraws from the deal in this situation and brings back the unilateral sanctions against Iran that it lifted under this deal two years ago, this would be the absolutely wrong message to North Korea", Lavrov said.

"If the agreement on the Iranian nuclear problem fails, North Korea will say: why should we negotiate with you, if you're unable to do so?"
"After all, it has to be understood that there is a need for a pause and for some contacts", he added.

As a result, "the enormous potential of our bilateral relations" isn't being realized and global issues aren't being solved because the US and Russian Federation can not coordinate, he said. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday called on the US-led coalition not to spare the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra (outlawed in Russia).

Every Matthew Vaughn Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
All combined are at odd with the Golden Circle , led by the lead villain, Academy Award Winner Julianne Moore ("Hunger Games"). And judging by the results of this sequel, "when" would have been the closing credits of the first film.

But the USA military has "a ban on cooperating with Russia", Lavrov said.

On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to totally destroy the DPRK, which prompted a rare and equally threatening direct message from Kim Jong Un carried by the North's state media.

Though both Washington and Pyongyang have rejected the proposal, he said, "we believe that the potential is not yet exhausted".

Iran has said it would not be the first to violate the landmark nuclear deal, but that it would respond "decisively and resolutely" to a violation of the pact "by any party".
