North Korea appears to bolster defenses after USA bombers flight

U.S. Air Force bombers flew over worldwide waters east of North Korea on Saturday as tension simmers between the two nations and their respective leaders, and a tremor earlier struck close to North Korea's nuclear test site. "This means the US assumed a military attack against North Korea and aimed to show that it can come up with even stronger military demonstrations depending on Pyongyang's future provocations".

This mission is a demonstration of US resolve and a clear message that the President has many military options to defeat any threat.

With tensions soaring high between North Korea and the United States right now, KPVI wanted to talk to someone that is in South Korea to find out what the mood is like over there.

Military analysts say North Korea doesn't have either the capability or the intent to attack US bombers and fighter jets, despite the country's top diplomat saying it has every right do so.

US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers escorted by fighter jets flew east of North Korea in a show of force after a heated exchange of rhetoric between Trump and Kim. The U.S. characterized the flights as extending farther north of the Demilitarized Zone, than any U.S. fighter or bomber had gone off the North Korean coast in the 21st century.

Tensions between the US and North Korea continue to flare as the North Korean and the American leaders exchanged insults and threats over the past week. North Korea previously discussed firing missiles at Guam, where the United States bases numerous bombers, and has now discussed shooting one down in worldwide airspace.

The leaders of the two countries have been locked in a battle of words recently, with Trump calling the North Korean leader "rocket man" and a "madman", while Kim Jong-un branded Trump a "mentally deranged United States dotard". It was designed as a show of force against North Korea amid an escalating war of words between Pyongyang and Washington.

Quicken Loans, which is based in Detroit , is focusing its efforts on boosting coding programs in local public schools. The impetus for this new initiative is train the workers of tomorrow for the growing demand of computer-science jobs.

Trump's insults against Kim Jong-un make "our rocket's visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable", North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho told the UN General Assembly on Saturday.

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho also staged the latest episode of the verbal war in NY on Monday, after saying that the US President's statement to the United Nations, in which he threatened to "totally destroy North Korea", was a declaration of war against his country.

But North Korea's dated air defenses complicate that task.

Trump in a tweet late Saturday wrote that North Korea "won't be around much longer".

Earlier this month, Pyongyang fired its second missile in as many months over northern Japan into the Pacific Ocean. It conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on September 3, which it said was a thermonuclear weapon built for intercontinental ballistic missiles.
