New Justice League Trailer Hints At Superman's Return, Because Duh

JusticeLeague

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, while a hit, didn't win the hearts and minds of moviegoers around the world like The Avengers did.

In any case, it's not like this trailer has nothing new in it.

Another, slightly different trailer was released on the Justice League Instagram account.

The new trailer for the much-anticipated Justice League, set to a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes", shows the DC universe's favorite heroes uniting to fight evil. Yet things have been quiet on the Justice League front lately. Many of DC's motion pictures in the past few years have had terrible reviews, with its most successful one being the Wonder Woman film that I enjoyed. And no one is having more fun kicking Parademon ass, getting thrown around while impaling enemies on his giant fork, than Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

Before that though, fans will be able to feast their eyes on the new trailer which is dropping later today following a series of teasing new character powers which have dropped in the past few days.

With an impending invasion of an alien force, Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince are forced into action without the help of their most powerful ally.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder with post-production duties handled by Joss Whedon.

Over the weekend, the Justice League Twitter announced there would be a trailer that debuts on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 9:00 a.m. ET.

But sadly, Lois wakes up and Superman's appearance was just a dream.

In the New 52 series, Steppenwolf led a massive army of Parademons, invading Earth 2 and killing the planet's Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

Co-starring Ezra Miller (who naturally gets another amusing one-liner), J.K. Simmons, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Connie Nielsen, Amber Heard, and Willem Dafoe, Justice League opens on November 17, 2017.
