Vegas Terrorist's Father Was on FBI's Most Wanted List

FBI Father of Las Vegas shooter escaped from La Tuna prison in'68

The father of Las Vegas shooting suspect Stephen Paddock had his own trouble with the law.

The elder Paddock landed on the infamous list after he escaped from a Texas federal prison in 1960 where he had reportedly been serving a 20 year sentence for bank robbery.

Benjamin Hoskins Paddock first garnered the FBI's attention after he robbed two Arizona banks in three separate incidents in 1959 and 1960.

The bureau's poster on Benjamin said he had committed armed robberies, had "suicidal tendencies", and "should be considered armed and very unsafe".

It added he "should be considered armed and very dangerous".

Benjamin Paddock eventually settled in Texas, where he lived until his death in 1998.

Though Stephen and Eric Paddock are known to be his sons, only one Patrick Paddock was noted in his paid obituary. Benjamin Paddock was eventually caught after being on the run for almost a decade.

Crybaby upset late night hosts are making fun of him
Kimmel responded by inviting Trump to his show... with a caveat. "Now kindly stop tweeting nonsense and go do your job for once". Some, like the Late Show's Stephen Colbert , have always worn their progressive politics on their sleeve.

It was the deadliest mass shooting in modern USA history.

On Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the Office of Personnel Management told The Associated Press that Paddock had worked as a mail carrier from 1976 to 1978 in between graduating from Cal State Northridge in 1977.

Stephen's brother Eric confirmed his father's identity and criminal history to ABC News, though he said the brothers "didn't know him" and he died several years ago. He was captured almost a decade later while managing a bingo parlor and using an assumed name.

Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, father of Stephen Paddock, was indicted in 1960 on three counts of robbing Phoenix branches of Valley National Bank, the Arizona Republic reported on October 6, 1960.

They also described him as an avid bridge player and gambler.

He altered his appearance, shaving his head and growing a forked goatee, and changed his name to Bruce Werner Ericksen. "He never cared about any of that stuff", the gunman's brother, Eric Paddock, told reporters as he alternately wept and shouted. "I don't know how he could stoop to this low point, hurting someone else ..."
